NINE members attended the May meeting and Jessie opened with the Lord’s prayer. The speaker was David Rodgers.

David gave a synopsis of both the private lives, loves and sometimes tragic deaths of the monarchs , and their political impact on the UK as a whole and on Wales in particular.
David explained how Princess Diana was descended from the Stuart dynasty and thus her son Prince William will be the first descendant of Charles I to reign over the UK since 1714.
Irene gave the vote of thanks.
Ena won the raffle.
