Banc bwyd

CAFWYD y cyfarfod blynyddol ar nos Fercher, 22 Mai yn Ystafell Ffynnon a da oedd gweld nifer yn bresennol.

Mae’r pwyllgor yn mynd o nerth i nerth a da gwybod ein bod yn medru helpu teuluoedd o fewn yr ardal sydd mewn angen.

Mae’r banc bwyd yn Neuadd Capel Seion ac ar agor gan wirfoddolwyr ar fore Llun, Mercher a Gwener a mawr yw ein diolch i bawb sy’n helpu mewn unrhyw fodd, gan ddiolch hefyd am y cyfraniadau bwyd.

Nos Fercher, 19 Mehefin bydd taith gerdded hanes lleol Pont-Tyweli; cwrdd am 6yh ym maes parcio Llandysul Paddlers a gorffen tua 7.30yh yn Nhafarn yr Half Moon am fwyd (os ydych eisiau).

Neu os nad ydych eisiau cerdded, cwrdd â ni yn yr Half Moon am 7.30yh am fwyd, neu dim ond diod a chlonc yn Gymraeg!

Swimming qualification

THIS is an excellent qualification that is recognised in most swimming pools around Wales and beyond.

Calon Tysul will be recruiting more part-time casual staff soon, so this is your first step towards joining the team.

Minimum candidate age: 16.

On the course, you will learn essential skills including the theory of pool lifeguarding, supervision, the roles and responsibilities of a lifeguard and the risks associated with a swimming pool or leisure centre.

Dates and times: Friday, 21 June, 5pm-9pm; Saturday, 22 June, 9am5pm; Sunday, 23 June, 9am-5pm; Friday, 28 June, 5pm-9pm; Saturday, 29 June, 9am-5pm; Sunday, 30 June, 9am-5pm.

Walkers are Welcome

LLANDYSUL and Pont-Tyweli, Saturday, 15 June: Llandysul to the Penrhiwllan Cobweb, start from Llandysul car park at 10am, about eight miles, moderate walk. About five hours with a picnic lunch stop.

Ending near the row of bungalows near the Penrhiwllan hall, for collection by minibus back to Llandysul.

Dogs strictly on leads and owners, please make arrangements for transport back to Llandysul.

Walk £2 per person, children under 16 free.
