Post-show party

The Post-Show Party community event was held on 2 September. The event was very well attended with an estimated 150 to 180 people from across the community taking part.

The evening began with a fancy dress parade followed by a BBQ and different bits of entertainment, including a bouncy castle, bucking bronco, treasure hunt and a performance by The Trill-bies.

Items were donated by local businesses for the raffle, which along with ‘Find the £10’ added £134.50 to the pot for next year’s event.

The Post Show Party committee would like to thank everyone who came along to make this event a huge success and extend a special thank you to Dyfed-Powys Police for coming along to support, and The Wildfowler for allowing the event to be held there and for putting on the barbecue, and to Coffee #1, Matalan, Mid Wales Transport and Tesco for donating items for prizes and the raffle.

The committee is already looking forward to begin making arrangements for next year’s event.
