Wesley Singers
THE Wesley Singers are giving a Christmas concert at Trinity Church, Shortbridge Street on Wednesday, 19 December at 7pm.
There will be free entry and a collection where proceeds will be divided between Trinity Church, the Wesley Singers and Llanidloes Dial a Ride.
The Wesley Singers will present a special carol service at Llawryglyn Wesleyan Chapel on Friday, 21 December at 7pm followed by light refreshments in the Vestry.

Rotary Club
AT its weekly meeting on Wednesday, 5 December, the Rotary Club was told that the sum of £844.89 had been raised for good causes at the Christmas Lights Switch-on event, and so far the amount raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind had reached £1,780.
The visiting speaker was Nick Cleary who gave a comprehensive report on the construction of the Newtown Bypass, detailing the vast amounts of earth moved and stone and tarmac used.
During a question session, he explained the system of 2+1 traffic lanes and the precautions in hand to prevent drivers ignoring the overtaking restrictions.
Côr Llanwnog
CÔR Llanwnog meets every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in Clatter Community Hall.
They are a friendly, mixed choir conducted by Graham Marshman.
They sing a varied programme of music, some Welsh and some English and they perform regularly. Do come and join.

Market hall volunteers
VOLUNTEERS are wanted to welcome visitors to the Old Market Hall.
Do you have any time to spare between 11am and 4pm on any Sunday, or lunchtime any day Tuesday to Saturday from the beginning of May to the end of September?

Friends Together
YOU are invited to join everyone on the second Wednesday of each month at St Idloes Church Hall, 2pm to 2.30pm, or any part of that time; come in, meet friends, have a cup of tea, open to everyone.
Millennium Garden
THE Millennium Garden is maintained by volunteers.
They are looking for more volunteers to join the happy group.
Come once or every week.
Meet in the garden on Friday mornings, 9am-10am, (weather permitting).
