BINGO in aid of Llanidloes Dial a Ride takes place at the rugby club, on Wednesday, 14 March, at 7.30pm.

Rotary Club

EVERY August Llanidloes Rotary Club sponsors at least one Llanidloes Student on the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA).

This annual course started over 50 years ago and is run by Rotary Clubs Worldwide.

Recent student, Sarah Davies, presented a slide show to the club outlining her achievements on the 2017 course.

Coffee morning

A COFFEE morning and Bric a Brac sale was held on Saturday, 24 February, at Chatwood in aid of Llanidloes Dial a Ride.

The event raised £615 for this vital community service.

Friends together

EVERYONE IS invited to come in on the second Wednesday of each month at St Idloes Church Hall, 2pm-2.30pm, or any part of that time; to meet friends and have a cup of tea. Open to everyone of all ages.

Exhibition

WELSH Heritage Quilters present True Colours at the Minerva Arts Centre, 24 March-7 April, 10am-4.30pm, except Sundays. Admission free.

Lent

THIS year’s Lent Lunches are prayers and reflections for Lent on the Journey to the Cross, every Friday from 16 March, 12.30pm, St Idloes Church Hall. Everyone welcome.

Quiz night

ST Idloes Golf Club is holding a quiz night at the club on Saturday, 3 March, at 7.30pm. £5 a team, maximum four people.
