THE members of Machynlleth WI are extending an invitation to all to join them for a talk by Dilys Williams to commemorate women’s right to vote 100 years ago and celebrate Machynlleth WI’s 100th birthday.
The talk will take place at St Peter’s Church Hall on Wednesday, 21 February, at 7pm.
Mach Maethlon
ORGANIZED by Mach Maethlon, the group’s free-to-all cooking/baking classes continued at the bowling club on Friday, 26 January, giving seasoned hands and beginners the opportunity to learn to cook a new dish.

LEADERS Dovey and their closest rivals, Foresters B and Slaters, all secured valuable points to stay clear of the field after round nine in the Dyfi Valley Dominoes League.

Etifeddiaeth
ETIFEDDIAETH is hosting a talk by Judith Alfrey of CADW in the auditorium MOMA on Wednesday, 7 February. The talk, entitled Historic Towns in Mid Wales, starts at noon.
Pantomime
IT’S pantomime time in Machynlleth – oh yes it is! The New Dyfi Players next production will be The Three Musketeers and it will be performed during February half term (Thursday 15 to 17 Saturday), at Ysgol Bro Hyddgen, high school campus.
There are three evening performances. Doors open 6.30pm to start at 7pm. There is a Saturday matinee when doors open at 1.30pm to start at 2pm. The tickets will be on sale at Miscellannea and Dyfi wholefoods from Thursday, 1 February.
