Sailing

DINGHY sailors took to the water at New Quay on Sunday for the continuing Frostbite Series.

The sea was relatively flat but the gusts from the south west were fierce catching several crews out with several capsizes.

Two races were completed in the series.

Results: race 3: 1 Tim Jeremy, Pico; 2 Mark and James Willis, Laser 2000; 3 Ina Jennings and Emlyn Owen, Topaz Argo. Race 4: 1 Tim Jeremy, Pico; 2 Mark and James Willis, Laser 2000; 3 Heather Summers, Pico.

Next races: Sunday 11th February, first race 11am.
