THE May meeting was a happy occasion when the group was joined by members of other Ceredigion WIs and also by members of the local community for a demonstration of floral artistry by the Chelsea gold medal winner, Donald Morgan.

So, it was with Bright Eyes (Phlox) and Purple Sensations (Allium) they travelled down a Golden River (Freesia) waving their Foxtails (Tulips) for an afternoon of Blue Magic (Iris).

At the meeting on 6 June at 1.30pm in Pantyfedwen Hall, Michael Freeman will be giving a talk on 19th century Welsh women.

A warm invitation is extended to all ladies.
