CYNHELIR noson arbennig yn y pafiliwn ar nos Sadwrn, 28 Hydref, sef Shân Cothi yn cyflwyno cyngerdd dathlu 10 mlynedd AmserJustinTime.

Arweinydd y noson fydd Stifyn Parry, a’r artistiaid fydd Côr Godre’r Aran, Rhys Meirion, Aled Wyn Davies, Gwawr Edwards, Elin Fflur, Mark Evans, Bois y Fro, Côr Proms Ysgolion Ceredigion, Band John Quirk, Geoffrey Howard a hefyd gwestai syrpreis arbennig y noson.

Whist Drive

A WHIST Drive will be held at Pantyfedwen Hall on Wednesday, 6 September, at 8pm, with the proceeds going towards the Afternoon Tea Club.

Bont Show

A SUCCESSFUL show was held again this year.

The show, as usual, was held on the Dolfawr fields by kind permission of the Herberts family.

The competitions were well attended throughout the day in all categories.

The day’s president was Jack Williams, Cefnmeurig.

The winners in the marquee were: Cookery section: Ceri Evans, Llangwyryfon; Open Children’s Class: Tirion Sedgewick, Hafod y Rhyd; Preserves section: Gwenda Davies, Llanilar; Handicraft section: Ann Arch, Elder Cottage; Rural Crafts section: Richie Jenkins, Lluest; Garden Produce section: Gwenda Davies, Llanilar; Farm section: Gwenda Davies; Flowers section: Ron Davies, Waunfawr; Local class: J A Williams, Ffair Rhos; Bont school children’s section: Molly Gough, Ffair Rhos; Mari Herberts, Rhydfen; and Ruby Morgan, Swyddffynnon (equal).

The silver cup winner for the best item in the marquee was Richie Jenkins.
