THE winners of last year’s monthly competitions and annual awards at Pontrhydfendigaid WI were Rosemary Brown, for the greatest number of points gained in monthly competitions, and Jean Williams for perfect attendance at meetings and support of the president.

February’s meeting on Wednesday, 7 February will be at 1.30pm in Pantyfedwen Hall and there will be a demonstration of Willow Weaving.

Women of any age are always welcome at our meetings.

The Pontrhydfendigaid WI will be holding a Whist Drive at Pantyfedwen Hall on Thursday, 8 February at 8pm, and a warm welcome is extended to all.
