Probus club

At Porthmadog and District Probus monthly meeting on 29 November, 18 members enjoyed an illustrated talk by Brian Palmer, a volunteer from the Woodland Trust.

Entitled ‘Letting in the Light’ Brian led his audience through his work with the north Wales group in restoring and maintaining ancient woodlands of the area.

The session ended with a fun quiz on trees.

Plas Tan y Bwlch seemed a most suitable venue for the subject which was received enthusiastically by the members. Thank you Brian.

Probus, a society for retired professional and business men meets on the last Thursday of the month and welcomes new members.
