Cymdeithas Lenyddol Undebol Capel y Porth a Jeriwsalem

AR 15 Ionawr, daeth pedwar o banelwyr i festri Capel y Porth gan roi eu barn ar nifer o destunau.

Y panelwyr dewr oedd: John Bryn Williams, Buddug Williams, Nia Jeffries ac Iwan Llewelyn.

Roedd y cwestiynau yn amrywiol ac yn gofyn barn y panelwyr am Donald Trump, sefyllfa llanast yn yr ardal, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol ym Mhorthmadog, chwip din i blant, diddordeb yn y cyfryngau cymdeithasol, sefyllfa’r iaith, a sefyllfa a oedd wedi creu embaras iddynt.

Cafwyd atebion dwys, difyr a gogleisiol yn enwedig i’r cwestiwn olaf.

Diolchwyd i’r gweinidog am gadeirio’r noson mor ddeheuig ac i’r chwiorydd am y baned.

THE first meeting of 2018 was held at the Golf Club, Morfa Bychan where president Sheila wished all members, present and absent, a happy and healthy new year.

The prayer was read by Nesta and the International Toast given by Katharine to Annapurna, Pokhara club in Nepal.

After the business meeting, Katharine gave an interesting and informative talk on the charity ‘Water Aid’ which has, and still is, doing marvellous work in countries where clean water and sanitation is just a ‘dream’.

Collection boxes to hold pennies were passed around to members - as every penny counts.
