Clwb Cinio

THE annual trip to Bala on Wednesday, 28 June, was attended by 36 members and although the weather was rather disappointing it did not spoil the day.

After leaving Tregaron at 10am and travelling to Dolgellau for lunch, they visited Byd Mary Jones World, near Llanycil Church.

The centre manager Nerys Sidall gave them a short talk and they watched a DVD before walking to the church, seeing Thomas Charles’ tomb on the way.

The interior of the church has been fully restored, but the altar, organ and pulpit remain.

The stories of Mary Jones, Thomas Charles and the Bible Society are displayed on very informative interactive panels around the room.

After a short break for a drink they went on to Bala.

They had excellent service at the Wildfowler Hotel and a very satisfactory meal before returning home.

Bu’r Clwb Ieuenctid yn rhoi cyflwyniad ar ‘Hanes y Creu’ a chafwyd eitem swynol gan y Clwb Plant dan ofal Nerys Bennett.

Ar ddiwedd yr oedfa roedd yn hyfryd cael cymdeithasu cyn troi am gartref.

Paratowyd barbeciw i orffen gweithgareddau’r Ysgol Sul, y Clwb Plant a’r Ieuenctid dros yr haf.

Bu’r plant wrth eu bodd yn chwarae gemau gyda’r Parch Carwyn ac Alicia Arthur, tra bod eraill yn mwynhau eistedd allan yn yr haul a mwynhau.
