I want to publicly give my heartfelt thanks to Craft, who responded swiftly and generously to a challenge I faced last week.Presented with having to immediately house a family in unfurnished emergency accommodation, I needed to find resources for furniture by the end of the afternoon.

The avenues of support I would have usually pursued would have taken at least two weeks to process and, even then, there would be no guarantee of success.

In this instance Craft stepped up to the mark and not only agreed to donate beds, bed linen, kitchenware, table, chairs and a settee (totalling well over £300), but also delivered the items within a couple of hours of me making the request.In order to show my appreciation for their speedy and generous donation, I want to pay public tribute to the help they gave a family in a desperate plight.

In this time of austerity, it is very heart-warming to know that as a community we can pull together when times are hard.
