Madam,

I am writing to you as a parent to congratulate Academi Gerdd y Lli on their fantastic production of ‘Pwy Biau’r Gân’ at the Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth on 30 November. It was brilliant to see so many children taking part and it was great to see a full and packed audience.

My seven-year-old daughter has been going to the Academi since last April and the confidence she has gained from going is been huge. What’s great as well is that she has met and made many friends with children from other schools. Another aspect that is great about the Academi is that children from different backgrounds attend, including first-language and second-language Welsh. It is a brilliant opportunity for them to socialise in Welsh outside school.

I would like to thank the Academi Gerdd y Lli team – Greg Roberts, Gemma Roberts, Natalie Jones and Beci Roberts – for everything they have done over the past few months. Diolch yn fawr iawn!
