An Aberporth 20-year-old has been fined for possession of cannabis.

Cai Williams, of 47 Brynglas, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 29 July.

The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to possession of 0.3g of cannabis on Netpool Road in Cardigan on 21 May this year.

Magistrates handed Williams a fine of £40.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £85.

A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs.
