An Aberystwyth woman accused of assaulting two police officers has been remanded in custody by magistrates.

Rose Voon, of Flat 7, Penmorfa, North Road, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 4 April.

The 40-year-old is accused of assaulting PS Jones and Pc Herron at Aberystwyth Police Station on 1 April.

Voon is next due to appear at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 7 May and was remanded in custody by magistrates until that date.
