AN Aberystwyth woman accused of dishonestly claiming benefits has been found not guilty following a trial.

Liana Wilkinson, of 38 North Parade, had denied a charge of dishonestly failing to notify of a change in circumstances that would affect benefits that she no longer had full time care of a child at a hearing in October last year.

The 45-year-old was found not guilty of the charge following a trial at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 11 January.
