ASSAULT and intentional strangulation charges against a Blaenau Ffestiniog man have been dismissed.

Michael Stark, of 8 Tan y Clogwyn Terrace, had previously pleaded not guilty to assaulting Donna Hughes on 8 September at Blaenau Ffestiniog, and the intentional strangulation and assault of Donna Hughes at Porthmadog on 2 September.

The charges against the 30-year-old were dismissed by Caernarfon magistrates on 6 February.
