A Cwmann man has been fined after being caught by police driving a six-figure supercar without an MOT twice in one week earlier this year.

Evan Forest Pantea, of Pantybyr, Parcyrhos, Caeteithwr, was stopped by police behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracan on the A4138 at Llangennech near Llanelli on 15 April, Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on Wednesday, 28 July.

The 33-year-old was then stopped by police again on the A485 at Llanllwni near Llanybydder five days later on 20 April.

Police checks showed that the supercar - which has a list price of between £150,000 and £275,000 - still did not have an MOT, magistrates heard.

Pantea was fined £66 for each offence.

He must also pay prosecution costs of £90 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
