A Lampeter man has been fined after admitting assaulting a female police officer.
Liam Douglas, of 24 Penbryn, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 30 August.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting PC Jones in Lampeter on 10 August this year.
Douglas was fined £733 and ordered to pay £50 in compensation.
He must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £293.
