A LLANYBYDDER man who hit more than 100mph on a Carmarthenshire dual carriageway has been fined by magistrates.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 28 February that Gareth Iwan Edwards, of Tyr Road, Station Terrace, was clocked by police laser travelling at 101mph in a Volkswagen Golf on the 70mph limit A40 at Abergwili on 28 August last year.
The 39-year-old was fined £242 and handed six penalty points.
He must also pay £90 costs and a £96 surcharge.
