North Wales Police are appealing for information about an illegal rave due to take place this weekend.

Tickets for the event, this Saturday (14 November), are being advertised on social media.

The exact location of ‘Farmhouse Rave’, as it has been called by organisers, has not been revealed.

With Covid restrictions still in place, the event should not be taking place, and North Wales Police are appealing to the public to help them stop it.

Superintendent Jane Banham said: “We are aware of social media posts advertising a music event this coming weekend, and our investigations surrounding this are continuing.

“With continuing restrictions due to the Covid pandemic, public safety is a major concern.

"Events like these are currently not authorised, and any organisers found to be contravening Welsh Government regulations will be dealt with appropriately, including the possibility of a £10,000 fine.”
