A Rhydlewis man will stand trial next week after appearing in court to deny a charge of assault.
Ronald Whitehead, of Penlanlas Uchaf, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 27 March.
The 65-year-old pleaded not guilty at the hearing to assaulting Daniel Snow in Rhydlewis on 25 January this year.
Whitehead is now due to stand trial on the charge at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 30 May.
He was remanded on unconditional bail by magistrates until that hearing date.
