A CONVICTED Penparcau sex offender has been fined by magistrates after a court heard he failed to notify police over extra bank accounts and debit cards in his name.
Lee Gallagher, of 82 Heol Tyn y Fron, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 6 January.
The 34-year-old, who is one the sex offenders register, pleaded guilty to two charges of failing to comply with notification requirements.
The court heard Gallagher had two bank accounts and five debit cards in his name that he failed to disclose to police between 19 April 2019 and 31 March last year.
Gallagher was fined £80 by magistrates for each offence.
He must also pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 as well as a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
