Stylist and beautician Rhian Thomas is offering one lucky winner in the Cambrian News Great Christmas Giveaway a £50 voucher to spend at salon Y Parlwr Gwallt – The Hair Parlour in Aberaeron.

At Y Parlwr Gwallt – The Hair Parlour, Rhian offers various treatments, from perming to colouring to cutting women, men and children’s hair.

She also offers electrolysis treatment in which she is fully licensed and Neals Yard remedies.

The wheels have turned full circle for Rhian, who did her training in Pembrokeshire college, where she qualified in hairdressing and beauty, before getting her first job at Eiddwen’s Hair Salon, Aberaeron.

Once qualified she took up her full-time career at JB’s Hair and Beauty salon in Aberystwyth. After a few years she moved to Lampeter where she worked at Tony’s.

She then ventured out with her work partner and friend Nia Jones to open Delwedd Newydd.

Rhian’s path then took her to Canada with her husband Tegryd Thomas. This is where she stayed and raised her children, Ifan and Lea.

After 12 years the family decided to come back to Wales and settle in their home town of Aberaeron. And it was in Aberaeron that Rhian decided to open a nearly two years ago.
