A friend of mine recently found it very difficult to get home.

She has restricted mobility and uses an electric buggy/scooter.

She found it difficult to access her home because someone had thoughtlessly or deliberately parked across a dropped kerb.

This is happening to lots of people.Please when you are parking your vehicle do not block access to dropped kerbs. They are there for a reason.

Dropped kerbs are usually carefully positioned to allow safe crossing of roads by people who are disabled by society. Parking across them increases the way society disables people.

Think before you park!
