Police are warning people to take extra care on the roads today.

Snow and ice are affecting some areas, and the Met Office’s yellow weather warning for snow and ice remains in place this morning.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Please take care on the roads if you are heading out today.

“Snow has fallen in many places across the region so keep a greater distance between yourself and the vehicle in front.

“Stay safe.”
