CHRISTMAS came early for the volunteer crew of Aberystwyth’s RNLI Lifeboat Station after staff at the town’s White Stuff store donated more than £1,300.

Staff at the store on Great Darkgate Street undertook a sponsored cycle ride from Aberystwyth lifeboat station near the harbour to the Rheidol Power station which raised £805.84, with a further £500 donated by the company.

The White Stuff team in Aberystwyth are continuing their fund-raising in support of the RNLI, with a charity fashion show taking place at their store at 7pm on Friday, 11 December.

On the night, crew members will be replacing their dry suits with more fashionable attire as they take to the catwalk with staff members to model the latest range of clothing for sale at the store.

Tickets for the event are available from the store, with all money raised from the fashion show donated to Aberystwyth lifeboat station.
