I also had a bad and expensive problem with the Aberaeron one.I am a blue badge holder and looked at the sign which said I had to pay unless the vehicle was specially adapted, and was frightened in case my automatic Yeti didn’t fit into that so attempted the machine. Tiny tiny signs, a queue behind me.

I followed what it said and put my PIN in obeying the screen instructions when it said transaction cancelled so pulled my card out with difficulty and tried again - this time flashing card and out came a ticket but to add insult to injury when I checked my bank account I had been charged twice - £4 - for only one ticket produced.

I won’t bother coming again.It was a complete rip-off of a 73-year-old cancer sufferer, plus other multiple medical problems.
