Families and friends will be able to visit their loved ones once again at Ceredigion County Council residential care homes.

The residents at Ceredigion homes are looking forward to welcoming families and friends from Monday after the council announced it will be enabled visits.

As of Monday, 27 July, families and friends will be able to visit outdoors.

30-minute slots can be booked from Friday, 24 July, through contacting Clic Ceredigion Customer Contact Centre on 01545 570881 or via [email protected]

Families and friends who wish to organise a visit are encouraged not to contact the home directly. Staff at the homes are ensuring the continuity of safe care to the residents and are not able to arrange the visits.

The council-run care homes are: Bryntirion, Tregaron; Cartref Tregerddan, Bow Street; Min y Mor, Aberaeron; Hafan Deg, Lampeter; Yr Hafod, Cardigan.

In order for visits to take place in a safe and manageable way, clear guidelines are in place. These protocols maintain the residents, staff and visitors' wellbeing and safety.

A maximum of two members of a family from the same household will be able to visit at one time. Each resident’s family/friends will only be permitted to book one slot so homes can ensure that each resident has an opportunity to have a visit. If there are additional appointments available, this may be reviewed by the service.

Slots are available on a first come, first served basis. No visits will be allowed without pre-booking with Clic Ceredigion Customer Contact Centre.
