Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that a woman who sadly died at an address at Rhydybont, Penparcau, Aberystwyth, on Thursday, 20 June, was 48-year-old Marie Lena Gilmore.
Her family has paid tribute to Marie, saying: “As a family we are distraught by our loss and Marie will be missed by all.
"We would like to thank family and friends for their support which has meant so much to the whole family, however we would now like time to grieve and would ask to be given privacy in which to do so.”
A police spokesperson added: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing. Our thoughts remain with the family at this sad time."
Michael Parker, 40, who was arrested at the property on 20 June, was charged with the breach of a restraining order and sentenced on Saturday, 22 June, to 16 weeks in prison for the offence.
