This challenge will take David, from Newcastle Emlyn, and four friends, 24 hours and they plan to walk all day and all night.
It will be a tough challenge for David and his teammates of Alan Banfield, Lorraine Hughes Gage and Marc Baulk.
“It will be a huge challenge. I completed the 60-mile Jurassic Coast Challenge and that was hard and opened my eyes a lot. To be honest, it nearly killed me, but it’s made me more confident and more determined,” said David, who has organised the coastal walk for Saturday, 15 July.
His wife Alicia and mother Mary Stephenson will be joining them for part of the walk offering refreshments.
David added: “We will be leaving Cardigan at around 9am so we can have as much daylight as possible. We will walk a lot of it in the dark too, so the earlier we leave, the better.”
David and his friends will be raising money for the Breast Care Unit, Llanelli; the swimming pools in Aberaeron, Narberth and Newcastle Emlyn. Their attempt is to raise as much money as possible and they are inviting others to join them.
