PENPARCAU Community Forum is appealing for votes from people in Aberystwyth after being nominated for a Most Admired Organisation award at the Third Sector Awards Cymru 2015.

Supported by Class Networks, the annual awards honour the hard work and inspirational achievements of the third sector — including charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises — in Wales.

Nominated in the main ‘most admired organisation’ category for organisations most respected for their inspirational work and the causes they represent, Penparcau Community Forum are asking people to take two minutes of their time to take part in an online vote to help them win.

A Penparcau Community Forum spokesperson said: “We have been shortlisted to one of five organisations, so we are really chuffed about that.

“It is recognition for all the work the forum has been doing over the years, and win or lose it is great news.

“What we are asking is if people could be so kind as to get on to the website and vote for us, we would be very appreciative."
