MASONS have raised hundreds of pounds after a high adrenaline go-karting race.
Last weekend saw the return of the ‘Bala Challenge Cup’, the second go-karting championship set up by Bala Lodge at GYG Karting Ceregydrudion.
Eleven teams of six drivers made up of Masons, friends and family took part in a three-hour endurance race.
The weather was described as “horrendous” but “great fun” was had by all and the trophy eventually won by Memory Lodge.
The day raised just over £900 which will be distributed to local charities in the next few weeks.
The charities which will receive the donations will be announced following the next committee meeting.
