Pontsian earlier this month was the place to be for the latest charity tractor run to grace the roads of West Wales, organised by Ceredigion YFC

With an entry of over 50 tractors it was a great turnout for the time of the year and with a slight drizzle it was a day for a tractor with a cab.

One tractor without a cab was that of Meirion Jones Abermac on a David Brown Cropmaster built in 1947 and has been in the family since it was bought new.

The run started shortly after 10.30am and headed out to Rhydowen then onto Cwmsychbant via Cathal farm and a bit of off road going.

From there they made their way to Capel Dewi, then headed in the direction of Llandysul before crossing the main A475 at Prengwyn and through Maesymeillion and onto Talgarreg.

A loop then followed out onto the Gorsgoch road before heading back down to the finish at Castell Howell at Pontsian. The money raised will be split between four charities.
