Madam,

I just wanted to share my experience of the NHS.

I rang for an appointment on Wednesday morning around 10.30am on 18 April to Tywyn Health Centre and got an appointment for 11.35am that morning.

I saw Dr Stockton and she referred me to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth, for a gastroscopy. I received a letter from the hospital on Saturday morning asking me to ring to arrange an appointment for this procedure, which I did on Monday morning around 11am. The appointment was made for Thursday morning, 26 April.

I’m simply amazed at the speed I got my diagnosis, treatment plan and follow-up appointment.

I can’t thank all involved enough for the kind, thoughtful and efficient way my health problem is being dealt with.

Yours etc,

Val Johnson, Tywyn.
