Following the announcement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday that rules around wearing masks and social distancing are to be ditched in England, Wales’ First Minister was keen to stress that these changes do not apply to Wales.
Mark Drakeford MS took to social media to say: “Any changes announced by Boris Johnson this evening will apply to England only. I’ll set out any changes for Wales next week based on the latest scientific data. Until then, we’ll continue our amazing vaccination programme that’s already fully vaccinated two thirds of adults in Wales.”
