Ceredigion and Powys have both recorded no new Covid-19 cases today.

This is the fourth day in a row that Ceredigion has recorded no cases of the virus with new cases dropping across the country.

62 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded across Wales today giving the nation an infection rate of 17.6 cases per 100,000 population.

Gwynedd has recorded five cases today with Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire both recording one new case.

Powys, along with Ceredigion, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Torfaen recorded no new cases of the virus.

No new deaths have been recorded leaving the total number of Covid-19 related fatalities in Wales at 5,333.

The vaccination rollout continues across Wales with 1,621,282 individuals having received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine and 549,193 receiving both jabs.

Hywel Dda Health Board has administered a total of 237,886 jabs with Betsi Cadwaladr in North Wales giving 448,219 doses of the vaccine and Powys Health Board administering 101,362.

There are currently 156 patients in hospitals across Wales with Covid-19, two per cent of the total number of inpatients nationwide.

Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board has 57 patients with Covid-19l Hywel Dda has 13 patients and Powys Health Board has three.
