Pupils at an Aberystwyth school are harnessing pedal power to get active for a seventh year.
Ysgol Plascrug is taking part in The Big Pedal, organised by the charity Sustrans to encourage pupils, families and staff to travel actively to school.
Deputy head Carol Macy said: “Plascrug has taken part in The Big Pedal for seven years. We are currently in 7th place in Wales with just over 70 per cent of pupils travelling actively to school using a bike, scooter or walking. The challenge ends on Friday - well done everybody for supporting this initiative to be more active and reduce pollution at the school gates. We have also set up a Strava group called The Big Pedal – Ysgol Plascrug which you are welcome to join.”
