ABERYSTWYTH University has recorded its first coronavirus cases among students in nearly two months.
Data from the university shows that fresh cases were identified in two students on 14 and 15 April.
The last cases recorded at the institution before that were on Wednesday, 24 February.
The new cases bring the total to 132 among students since September.
The university also recorded 11 cases among staff since 4 September, but none since the start of February.
Figures are based on the university’s monitoring system.
Aberystwyth University said: “Cases are reported to us on the basis of positive tests.
“These figures are the responsibility of the university and are likely to reflect a different reporting period to the official Public Health Wales statistics.
“It is possible that some students included in our figures are also members of university staff.
“Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our students, staff and the wider community here in Aberystwyth.
“We’re working closely with the Ceredigion Contact Tracing team, and we are supporting all those affected by this awful virus.”
