Walk-in vaccine clinics at vaccination centres in Aberystwyth and Cardigan will be partially closed this week from today, Hywel Dda Health Board has announced.

The centre in the Thomas Parry Library in Llanbadarn Fawr will be closed from today and will reopen on Thursday, 22 July.

The Teifi Leisure Centre in Cardigan will be closed today and on Wednesday, 21 July.

At Aberystwyth, when the walk-in clinic reopens, Astrazeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available during the new opening times of 10am to 7pm.

In Cardigan, the new opening times will be between 10am and 5pm for walk-ins, with the Moderna vaccine the only one available, apart from on Tuesday, 20 July when Pfizer will be the only vaccine available.

The first and second dose walk-in vaccine clinics allow residents to receive the first vaccine dose, available for anyone aged 18 and over, or second vaccine dose if it is due - usually eight weeks after the first jab.
