ABERYSTWYTH will be lit up for Christmas tomorrow as the town’s festive lights are switched on.

The big switch-on will features over £2,400 in new lights purchased by Aberystwyth Town Council.

The lights, being put up local contractor Tom Edwards, will be switched on by Aberystwyth mayor Cllr Endaf Edwards.

The event will also feature the annual lantern parade through town from St Michael’s Church and Baker Street will be closed all day to host a Christmas market.
