MEIRIONNYDD’S Knights in shining armour have continued their good work across north Wales.
The innovative fund-raiser has raised more than £800 so far with organisers expecting the grand total to sit at well over a grand.
The money raised will go to the Nightingale House Hospice, a charity providing specialist palliative care services to patients and their families across north Wales.
Now the medieval re-enactors have generously donated a further £500 from the money they collected in 2015.
The latest recipient was the Llandudno Centre of Blind Veterans UK, a non-profit organisation which gives ex-service men and women with sight loss the skills they need to live an independent life.
Mev Williams, a representative of Ardudwy Knights, said: “A few of our members went up to the centre and after the presentation were taken on a tour of the facility to see how the centre helps to retrain and provide some respite for veterans.
“The results they achieve in the centre are spectacular, we’re very pleased to be able to assist with their good work.
“We’d like to thank everyone who has donated, and who continue to donate, money so far.”
