Community council

THE MONTHLY meeting was held at Coracle Hall, Llechryd on Monday, 7 December. The chairperson, Cllr A Edwards, welcomed everyone to the meeting. She said the recent switch-on of Christmas lights had taken place during particularly bad weather and the carols had to be sung in the school. She thanked the school staff and children for helping make the event enjoyable.The council started its annual budget setting process which will be completed at the January meeting.It was agreed to look at further opportunities to extend the current recycling provision in the village, which produced a small income and flyers advertising the current scheme were to be placed on local notice boards and with local businesses.
