An exhibition of work created and inspired by lockdown has gone on display in Llandysul.
Meandering Through the Lockdown Days contains work by the artist Jo Taylor described as being “from the abstract to the whimsical, and a fair bit in between”.
The collection of work goes on display this week in Pwerdy-Powerhouse.
Describing the pieces people can see on display there, Jo said: “Lockdown has been a challenging time for us all and I have found that not being able to exhibit at craft fairs and shows has done nothing to help focus my mind!
“Instead I have flitted from one idea to another, but looking back, it has been no bad thing and so the work on display will certainly be varied.”
She added: “I work mainly in watercolour and archival ink and have recently been dabbling in some drypoint printing.
“I am not only delighted to be able to exhibit at Pwerdy-Powerhouse, but even more so that they are once again open after a long closure due initially to flooding and then to Covid.
“The exhibition opens on Friday and runs until Saturday, 7 August and I will be there daily from 10.30am to 4pm working on some new pieces.”
