ART lovers in Ceredigion will be able to enjoy free local art all year round this year thanks to a new website.
People can make their own bespoke trail on the new interactive Ceredigion Art Trail website, with a personal list of artists to visit around the county.
The new interactive software on the trail’s website enables member artists to showcase their workshops, studios and exhibitions. It is constantly updated with the latest news and events.
Trail chair Jamie Herschel is excited about the idea.
“The new trail will be accessible all year, not just for a short time in the summer. It will support artists and makers in the area and enable them to be flexible about their opening times,” he said.
Justine Dodd from Cariad Glass in Llandysul is delighted with the new direction.
She said: “This is such a great way to develop the Art Trail. Now all artists and makers can be involved. Some, like ourselves, are open all year round and some open solely during the summer.
“Others take part in exhibitions throughout the season, and some artists work purely on a commission basis. This website will pull us all together and allow art lovers to access all the information from one hub.”
