A MEIRIONNYDD healthcare stalwart has been named in the New Year’s Honours List.
Clinical data specialist Kath Charters (pictured), who is based in Tywyn, has been awarded the Queen’s Ambulance Service Medal, an accolade given to members of the NHS Ambulance Services for “distinguished service”.
She will receive her award at a glittering ceremony in Buckingham Palace later this year.
Kath joined the ambulance service in 1994 and has taken a lead in several milestone projects which have improved paramedic training, practice and patient outcomes.
