Madam,

This year I have written to my MP, Mark Williams over a matter of importance to me. I had no response so have recently sent a reminder - still no response.

I have also written to my AM, Elin Jones, over concerns as to the direction of Welsh government policy - again, no response despite a reminder.So I tried writing to one of my other AMs - Simon Thomas - only to be told I had to go through my local AM (who will not respond to me).

It seems that I have no way of raising legitimate concerns with my elected representatives, despite the taxes I pay to support them and their offices.

Is this democracy? Doesn’t seem much point in voting if your ‘representatives’ refuse to even respond to their constituents.
