Madam,

With the understandable objections to the proposed charging for vehicle parking on Tywyn promenade, surely there is a simple answer that could provide the councillors with the extra cash we read they need - to replace a mayoral chain, raise their incomes etc.

As the promenade was a gift to the public from the late John Corbett of Tywyn, as the stone plaque on the promenade states, surely it is very wrong to even think of charging the people of Tywyn, so a little disc could be supplied to all Tywyn residents showing that we are exempt from the charge that will be levied.

The income raised will well contribute to the small cost of this.
